This is 17 minutes dark wave turned to shoegaze on a shiny floor. Summertown is appropriate for a late August heat and a hope for something dark to follow. The Dialogue gives a Heaven17/BEF dancefloor vibe complete with a distorted slide that reels us in. The title track is deceiving by its upbeat delivery and out-of-control narrative. This EP deserves multiple listens.
